Jobs Friday: No DOGE, More Same Old, Same Old

Talk about “Where’s Waldo?”

Based on all the gnashing of teeth and loud wailing wafting from the banks of the Potomac you’d think half the Federal work force has gotten pink slips owing to DOGE’s rampage against the bureaucracy. Even Elon Musk has implied that tens of thousands of Federal bureaucrats have gotten their walking papers, while the paid media shills for the status quo like CNN have claimed more than 200,000 Federal jobs have already been shit-canned.

Then again, we suppose our magnifying glass just isn’t up to the task. From the Jobs Friday report this morning we learn that the number of Federal employees totaled 2,389,400 during the month of April, which number compares with no small amount of striking precision to the 2,388,800 figure posted on the “Joe Biden” watch during March 2024.
