There is no doubt we are now in a red hot trade war with China. Both the Trump White House and the Chicoms of Beijing have tit-for-tatted their way up to mutually destructive tariffs of 145%/125% on all bilateral trade between the two countries. That’s $600 billion of two-way trade which the statists in both Washington and Beijing will now put their slimy mits upon via a tax (tariff) collection override of $840 billion between them.

Well, except for late-breaking news that Trump has flip-flopped yet again, by exempting iPhones, computers, semi-conductors and related technology from the Reciprocal Tariffs entirely, meaning that the two-way level on tariffs between China and the US may now amount to only $700 billion for the tax man. Whatever!
