A Gong Show should be called a Gong Show—even when the MAGA fanboys desperately want to believe that there is rhyme, reason and strategic intent to the Donald’s endless pivots, pirouettes and policy pratfalls.

There isn’t. He’s dead wrong on all the economic fundamentals—fiscal, monetary, trade and immigration—and therefore peddles a seat-of-the-pants economic game plan that literally changes by the hour and amounts to a dog’s breakfast of humbug, hyperbole and half-assed populism, at best.
