American Capitalism’s Worst Nightmare, Part 1

CNN was running a crawler during the 7AM hour this morning that marked a new milestone in belaboring the obvious:

“Markets are spooked by fears that Trump listens only to his own impulses.”

Indeed, the Donald’s impulses, annoyances, animosities, bugbears, expectorations, fantasies, gripes, peeves, piques, prejudices, umbrages and whims are what it’s all about. In fact, that’s all it’s all about. He doesn’t remotely strategize—even as he thinks fleetingly and rails, rages and rants continuously.
